What Franke said about Legault

Here's what Komets general manager David Franke had to say about the signing of Olivier Legault. (By the way, Legault does have a contract; it's not just a tryout.)

"We looked at what's out there right now and with Olivier, the pluses for him are (many)," Franke said. "We know who he is. He's good in the locker room and is well liked by all the guys, not a problem at all. He's big, strong and tough. At the end of the day, we felt more comfortable with Olivier right now than going with an unknown. We may bring another tough guy in, though. We don't know right now.

"Olivier has got his head screwed on tight and is willing to take on this role. We'll see if he can be our guy with the physical part of the game. There are a lot of big dudes in the (Central Hockey League) and he can match up against any of them."
