Honda recalls 18,000 cars to fix brakes

DETROIT – Honda is recalling more than 18,000 cars in the U.S. to fix problems with the brakes.Thursday

About 15,000 hickory-handle sledge hammers, manufactured in India and imported by White Cap Construction Supply Inc. of Costa Mesa, Calif., because the hammer heads can loosen and detach.

No incidents have been reported.

The hammers were sold by White Cap Construction Supply distributors nationwide from April 2009 through May 2010.
