About 1,000 rolls of THHN electrical wire, manufactured in the United States by Cerro Wire Inc. of Crothersville, Ind., because the packaging says it is 12-gauge, when it is actually 14-gauge wire.

The wire was sold at Home Depot and Menards stores in the following states: Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming from December 2009 through April 2010.
