Regional quilt show slated for October

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program of DeKalb, Noble, Steuben and LaGrange counties will host its 29th annual Quilt Show Oct. 8 and 9 at the First United Methodist Church, 1203 E. Seventh St., Auburn

The show will feature a national quilt display among its many other features. Also offered will be several different classes, including "Free Motion Quilting with a regular home sewing machine." This all day class, taught by Kent Mick of Roanoke, is $30 and space is limited. The deadline to register for classes is Oct. 1.
