What Reiter had to say

Got an e-mail from Kevin Reiter, who has been talking about re-signing with the Komets.

With permission from him, I'm passing this along:

"We've been going back and forth on a few things and I'm trying to (decide) what option is best and makes the most sense," Reiter wrote. "I have a few teams that need an answer by Sunday. I've been talking with a few teams and I should have a deal completed by the end of the weekend somewhere in the U.S. I have a few friends trying to persuade me to join them elsewhere, but I'm still waiting on another teams' offer sheet.

"Other than that, not much going on. I'm back in Pittsburgh, getting ready for the upcoming season. I'm feeling great and wish the season was a week away instead of over a month. I ran goalie schools all of June and July and now I'm working on my game. I've been fortunate enough to be participating in the Penguins (American Hockey League) conditioning camp the last few weeks here in Pittsburgh. The Pens bring in most of their AHL guys for the month of August to get them ready for NHL Main Camp. I've been seeing a ton of quality shots from those guys and a few of the NHL guys have been coming out as well. Nothing like having (Sidney) Crosby, Matt Cooke and Pascal Dupuis coming into the zone 3-on-0 against you!"
