Penalty kick pushes Barons by Bulldogs

Amber Oster’s penalty kick in overtime lifted DeKalb to a 3-2 girls soccer win over visiting New Haven on Thursday.

Amber Shipe led DeKalb (3-1, 1-0 NHC) with a goal and an assist, while Amara Knox also scored a goal.

Keegan Holle and Breanna Wurm scored goals for the Bulldogs (0-2, 0-1).
