For the first time since 1980, Purdue will open its season at Notre Dame.
The Irish have some question marks:
How will new starting quarterback Dayne Crist perform guiding the offense?
Can inexperienced offensive tackles keep pressure off Crist?
Will the transition be smooth after the team switched to a 3-4 defense?
Who will step up for depth in the secondary?
We'll see when the Boilermakers travel to South Bend for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff Saturday.
