Concordia boys golfer received award

Concordia boys golfer Ryan Poor received the Mitchel J. Winger Courage Award back in June at the Indiana Golf Coaches Awards Banquet at Plum Creek Country Club in Carmel.

The award is given to a player who contributes to the success of their team despite physical impairments.

Poor is a bilateral below-knee amputee.

Coach Mike Mommer has described Poor as having all the definitions of courage, including physical and moral.
