Today's senior moment

... belongs to 84-year-old Chris Chelios (OK, so he's only 48), who has finally, reluctantly, decided to retire from professional hockey as a player after 26 years.

Eddie Shore, Toe Blake, Rocket Richard and Boom-Boom Geoffrion all sent along congratulations.

"Chelly was one of the toughest guys I ever played against," said Shore, who would be 108 today had he not died in 1985.
