Help! My cats keeping ‘missing’ the box

Sometimes our cats are like little brothers. You love them, you really do. But they can be frustrating.

Alibi and Keyser – for the most part – are excellent users of the cat litter.

But either they are trying to tell us something or they are just plain dumb lately because they keep “missing” the box.

My husband Ehren theorizes that they simply back up too far and go right over the side. We used to have the hooded litter boxes that might help a little but Keyser refused to use it because she is big and felt claustrophobic.

We have tried everything – including cleaning the litter box a lot more and making sure it is ready to go. Still, though, the first one to go into the clean box dribbles over the side.

Any advice from cat lovers would be appreciated. Please comment in the box below or e-mail critters@jg.net.
