Sergeant Ann Wojas said Thursday that a family member of Gabriella Cedillo called to say she’s in critical condition.
Authorities say the “Transformers 3” crew was filming a stunt late Wednesday in Hammond when an object went through the windshield of the vehicle 24-year-old Cedillo was in and hit her.
She was taken to Loyola Medical Center in the Chicago suburb of Maywood.
Police say Cedillo was an extra, not a stunt professional.
A hospital official said she has no information about Cedillo.
