    A home on Fort Wayne's southeast side sustained heavy fire and smoke damage in a fire Thursday afternoon.

    The employee was shot with the stun gun after confronting a man and a woman at a Fort Wayne Kroger store.

Fire heavily damages northeast-side restaurant

No one was injured during a fire at a northeast-side restaurant early Tuesday.

The blaze was reported just after 7 a.m. Tuesday at Hopsing’s at 6214 Stellhorn Road. When firefighters arrived they saw flames coming through the roof of the one-story building.

The building sustained heavy damage to the roof and medium damage to the ceiling and interior, firefighters said.

No one was at the restaurant at the time. The cause is under investigation.
