East Noble girls set golf record

East Noble has a new record in girls golf.

Led by a 3-under 32 from Katie Sharp, the Knights posted a 152-188 victory over Angola over the front nine at Noble Hawk.

The 152 total set a nine-hole school record for the girls golf team.

Sharp had four birdies to offset one bogey, while Brittany Wyatt came in with a 39, Sadey Gamble had a 40 and Anna Pasquali had a 41 for the Knights (8-1).

Anna Hartsuff had a 42 to lead the Hornets.

CANTERBURY 176, NEW HAVEN 211: Sarah Dusman’s 38 led Canterbury past New Haven at Brookwood.

SNIDER 205, FREMONT 214: Jessica Peppler shot a 46 to lead visiting Snider past Fremont.

Boys soccer

NORTHROP 4, LEO 0: Connor Presley had two goals and Aaron Miller had a goal and an assist for host Northrop.

WARSAW 1, CONCORD 0: Joey Hickerson’s first-half goal carried the host Tigers (5-0) past Concord.

Volleyball

EASTSIDE 3, HERITAGE 1: Megan Strock’s 15 kills and 11 from Taylor Conser paced host Eastside past Heritage.

Set scores were 28-26, 18-25, 25-15 and 25-23.

Tennis

SOUTH ADAMS 5, UNION CITY 0: Visiting South Adams lost only two games in the three singles matches against Union City.

SNIDER 5, LEO 0: Snider dominated the host Lions at all five positions, including the three singles, where the Panthers lost only three games.
