FORT WAYNE – A water main break has interrupted water service for customers along 930 East near Adams Center Road, Fort Wayne City Utilities said in a written statement.

Crews are repairing a 16-inch concrete pipe and connecting joint. Because the break is at a joint, a custom transition fitting was ordered.

The statement said city crews will work through the night and into tomorrow to complete the repair.

Customers between the 5400 and 5900 blocks of Highway 930 East will be without water until the repair is complete.

Those customers were notified about the service interruption by City Utilities.
