Garage fire engulfs home; no injuries

A two-story home at 6115 Hunter Wood Drive was severely damaged by a fire that began in the garage Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived at the home at 12:52 p.m. to find fire coming from the roof of the garage, according to a Fort Wayne Fire Department report. Three people inside the home and one pet escaped without injury. It took 45 minutes to bring the fire, which burned through the entire home, under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
