The deadline to register for New Haven’s fall citizens’ academy is Wednesday.

The eight-session program will begin Sept. 13 and shows how city government works and introduce participants to local leaders and department heads.

The program will also show participants how they can get involved and learn more about the community.

To participate, pick up an application form at the mayor’s office or go to the city’s website at www.newhavenin.org.
