Funeral set for slain Huntington soldier

Army Pfc. Chad D. Clements will return to Huntington North High School one last time.

Calling hours for Clements, who died Aug. 30 in an attack in Afghanistan, will be noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium, with the funeral starting at 3 p.m., according to his obituary from McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home in Huntington.

The school is at 450 MacGahan St.

Clements, 26, graduated from Huntington North in 2002 and was stationed in Afghanistan with the Motor Transportation 88M when his Humvee was struck. Several others were also killed.

Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.
