Woodlan volleyball nets rout

Amy Potter had a little too much at the net for Leo – and the net result was a Woodlan victory.

Potter’s 13 kills led the Warriors to a 25-17, 25-17, 25-21 thumping of the Lions at Leo on Tuesday, improving the Warriors to 5-2 on the season. Three other players – Hannah Robbins (7), Tricia Sieger (5) and Burgundy Price (5) – had at least five kills for Woodlan.

Boys soccer

LAKEWOOD PARK CHRISTIAN 6, HERITAGE 0: Brooks Gerke scored two goals and Austin Altimus had a goal and two assists as Lakewood Park remained unbeaten at 6-0-1.

Girls soccer

SNIDER 2, NORTHROP 1: Taylor Stevens and Allison LaBorde scored for the Panthers, one in each half, as Snider edged the Bruins.

BISHOP LUERS 4, SOUTH SIDE 2: Mayson Whitman scored two goals and Kelly Dwire and Alexa Litchfield added single goals to pace the Knights.
