A rejuvenated Homestead boys basketball team bounced back in the second half to clinch the outright NHC title and remain undefeated with a 65-55 win against Columbia City on Tuesday.The Class 4A No.Amy Potter had a little too much at the net for Leo – and the net result was a Woodlan victory.
Potter’s 13 kills led the Warriors to a 25-17, 25-17, 25-21 thumping of the Lions at Leo on Tuesday, improving the Warriors to 5-2 on the season. Three other players – Hannah Robbins (7), Tricia Sieger (5) and Burgundy Price (5) – had at least five kills for Woodlan.
