In your garden: Trumpets are worth the work

Ramona Lehrman

The trumpet plants my brother gave me do not winter over here and have to be taken in for the winter.

This is the second summer I have had them. I think they are worth the trouble of moving them inside and back out.

My brother's plants in Texas have hundreds of blooms per plant. If they were closer to the road, they would be a traffic-stopper!

Ramona Lehrman lives in the Decatur area.
