Sure hope the two voting points the South Adams' football team got in the latest Associated Press poll for Class A was a mistake by the voter.
Because if it wasn't, there's a problem with the voter's thinking.
No offense to the Starfires, but they are 0-4. South Adams has been competitive, especially in the ACAC, but they are still winless.
The Starfires (0-2 ACAC) have been outscored 89-53 overall and 24-19 in the two conference games.
They lost on a last-second pass two weeks to Bluffton, but the fact remains they haven't won a game.
I vote on the poll, so I know how hard it is to track teams from around the state.
But hopefully the voter just got them mixed up with Adams Central (3-1).
It could also be multiple voters because two points could be one ninth-place vote or two 10th-place votes.
