The Notre Dame men's basketball team is scheduled to make three appearances on ESPN's Big Monday, the Big East and network announced Thursday.
The Irish tip off their Big Monday slate with a road game against Marquette at 7 p.m. Jan. 10 on ESPN2. That game is part of three preview games before the network begins its seven-week run of Big Monday games.
Notre Dame will also be on the road for its next appearance as the Irish travel to play Pittsburgh at 7 p.m. Jan. 24. The game will be on ESPN.
Notre Dame closes the Monday games lineup with a home game against Villanova at 7 p.m. Feb. 28.
The Irish are one of eight teams from the conference that appeared in last season NCAA tournament that will be featured during on Big Monday, which officially begins Jan. 17 with Villanova playing at Connecticut at 3:30 p.m. and Syracuse at Pittsburgh at 7:30 p.m.
Notre Dame went 23-12 last season, closing the regular-season with four straight wins and going 2-1 in the Big East tournament, to earn an NCAA berth. The Irish lost 51-50 to Old Dominion in the first round in New Orleans.
