Company recalls cookies sold in Michigan, Ohio

TROY, Mich. – A Detroit-area company is recalling cookies sold in Michigan and Ohio because they contain undeclared walnuts.

Dough Masters Inc. of Troy said Friday it's recalling all lots of its Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

The company says people who have allergies to walnuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the cookies.

The recalled cookies were distributed to and sold at 7-eleven retail stores in Michigan and Ohio.

Dough Masters says the cookies come in a 3-ounce, clear plastic package and are labeled as a "7-eleven Fresh to Go" product.

They're also sold as bulk cookies at 7-eleven retail stores.

The company says one illness has been reported.
