Notre Dame releases men's basketball schedule

After already learning its Big East slate last week, Notre Dame men's basketball now has a complete picture for its upcoming season.

The Irish released their full schedule Monday, and the non-conference slate is highlighted by a trip to Louisville to play Kentucky in the Big East/SEC Invitational at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 8 and a home game against Gonzaga at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11.

The Irish will also face another SEC school at 7 p.m. Nov. 25 when they meet Georgia in the Old Spice Classic in Orlando, Fla., as previously announced. Notre Dame will play two more games in the Classic on Nov. 26 and 28.

The Irish begin the regular season with four consecutive home games, starting with Georgia Southern at 8 p.m. Nov. 12.

Notre Dame begins Big East play at home against Georgetown at 6 p.m. Dec. 29, The Irish's repeat opponents in conference play are Connecticut, Marquette and St. John's.
