I liked the baby booties all by themselves, but, really, I'm beside myself at how adorable this photo is. One of my co-workers, Laura, just got back from maternity leave, and kindly offered to take photos of her daughter, Juliet Pearl, modeling my version of Christine's Stay-On Baby Booties. Cute!
This Saturday (tomorrow) is National Alpaca Farm Day. To celebrate, the Big Red Barn at 6205 Indiana 1 in St. Joe is hosting a grand opening. The barn is a co-op that carries the handmade works of local artisans as well as natural fiber yarn and roving. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. you can check out the yarn and roving available, as well as finished works AND alpacas from three different farms. For more information, call 446-7997 or email email@example.com. The attached photo is baby alpacas, or crias, from 4KAlpacas in Harlan. Cute!
