There was a lot of scoring and big plays in the ACAC Day at Ball State football games Saturday.
Here are the highlights of the first three games.
SOUTHERN WELLS 39, BLUFFTON 16: The Class A No. 2 Raiders' Kyle Jones had 213 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 39-16 win over Bluffton, and the Class 3A No. 10 Lions had two players score three touchdowns each in a 56-28 win over Heritage.
Jones had scoring runs of 57, 10, 8 and 3 yards for Southern Wells, which is playing as an independent this season.
Trevor Furnish scored two touchdowns for the Raiders (6-0).
Cameron Gerber threw for 237 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers (3-3).
GARRETT 27, WOODLAN 20: Brayden Moreau scored two touchdowns, including the game-winner with 1:29 remaining for the Railroaders (3-3, 2-1).
Moreau rushed for 109 yards, including a 63-yard TD run in the first quarter.
Woodlan (1-5, 0-3) got 164 yards passing and a touchdown from Nathan Wiedemann and two short scoring runs from Payton Spencer.
The Railroaders outscored the Warriors 14-0 in the fourth quarter.
LEO 56, HERITAGE 28: Kyle Marzec had scoring runs of 26, 71 and 68 yards for the Lions on his first three carries. He finished with 167 rushing yards.
Also for Leo, Connor Kacsor rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns, and had an 88-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The Lions (5-1, 3-0) got two touchdown passes from Ryan Leiter as they raced out to a 49-7 advantage.
Conner Sheehan threw for 344 yards and a touchdown and had a rushing touchdown for Heritage (2-4, 2-2).
