Spreading the wealth

Seven players caught passes for Indiana in the 35-20 win against Akron. Five receivers had at least three catches. Terrance Turner had six catches for 121 yards and one touchdown.

"They are good players. They all compliment one another," IU coach Bill Lynch said. "… They pull for one another. They block for one another. It goes back to (quarterback) Ben (Chappell). If they run hard and they are open, they are going to get the ball. But if somebody else is open, they will get it. Ben doesn't play any favorites. He's going to throw to the open guy."
