Coach Danny Hope didn't offer any specifics on injured quarterback Robert Marve after practice on Tuesday.
Hope didn't arrive in West Lafayette until just before the start of practice after being on the road recruiting and said he hadn't spoken with Marve or head athletic trainer Denny Miller yet.
Hope said on Sunday that Marve was going to have an MRI Monday. But on Tuesday, he said he wasn't sure what day Marve was going to get the MRI but assumed it'd be in the "next couple of days."
"I'm assuming if they got the MRI and had something for sure, they would have let me know," Hope told reporters at about 6:15 p.m. "As soon as I get done (talking to the reporters), I'll call and find out. As of 2:30 when I got back, between now and then, nobody said a word to me. So I'm assuming there's nothing new."
