Injury update

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said he believes running back Jonas Gray is doubtful to play Saturday at Boston College.

Gray strained his groin against Stanford, but it appears the injury is worse than that.

"His groin in fine," Kelly said after Wednesday's practice. "He's got a knee sprain. He is questionable to doubtful right now. My guess is he is probably doubtful for Saturday."

Gray had a large brace on his left leg Tuesday, but he was wearing a smaller black knee brace Wednesday.

Other than Gray, Kelly said there are no injury concerns.
