And Another Thing

Boos or cheers? A nation breathlessly awaits

Or not.

I'm betting on "Not."

I'm betting that 99 percent of the nation is breathing normally right now, less than 20 minutes until kickoff on the Sunday When Donovan McNabb Returns To Philadelphia, Where He Will Be Booed So Viciously He Will Cry.

And on his tears (or lack of same), the fate of America will turn.

Lord knows you'd think as much, to hear all the buildup this week. Will Donovan be cheered? Will he be booed? Will any of us be able to stand it, one way or another?

Yeesh. Look, people: McNabb will probably be cheered. He'll probably hear some boos. And he probably won't beat Michal Vick, because his new team (the Redskins) stink.

And at the end of the day, the Earth will still be rotating on its axis. I swear.
