Fiery Kelly

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly's actions on the sidelines during games has gotten him a lot of attention.

From fans writing in about what they believe he said when the read his lips on TV to the commentators of the Boston College game talking about Kelly getting in players' faces.

Irish safety Harrison Smith said Kelly's sideline demeanor is good for the team, and that the coach yells at players the right way.

"He spreads it to all of us," Smith said. "You might have somebody who is passionate or fiery, but the team might take it the wrong way. But he is a players' coach. When we see him fiery or things like that then that is how we act too."

For more on how players handle Kelly's coaching style return to Wednesday morning.
