One of Notre Dame's top recruits for the class of 2011 is keeping his options open.
Defensive end Aaron Lynch plans to visit Iowa and Florida State, according to reports from the Des Moines (Iowa) Register and Iowa City Press-Citizen.
The 6-foot-6, 245-pound Cape Coral, Fla., native orally committed to the Irish in July, but according to NoleInsider.com he thinks that Iowa's 4-3 defense may suit him better than Notre Dame's 3-4 defense.
The Irish reacted to reports of Lynch's planned trips quickly. Receivers coach Tony Alford contacted Lynch and appears to have settled things down, according to IrishIllustrated.com.
