Indiana ended a two-game losing streak with a 36-34 victory against Arkansas State on Saturday.
Here are some of the highlights.
Key stat: Four. Ben Chappell threw touchdowns to four players (wide receivers Damarlo Belcher, Tandon Doss and Terrance Turner and tight end Max Dedmond). It is the first time since Sept. 17, 2005 against Kentucky that four receivers caught a touchdown passes in one game, and just the third time on record in school history.
Key (non-touchdown): Arkansas State had 223 yards on kickoff returns. But IU kicker Mitch Ewald helped avoid making those long returns result in touchdowns. Ewald was credited with a tackle on Roderick Hall's 50-yard return in the fourth quarter when IU had just taken a 36-27 lead. The Red Wolves started at Indiana's 36. Terrance Thomas forced and then recovered a fumble on the next play.
"We figured we'd give them a double move. They fell for the bait, and we got a touchdown out of it."
