MacMillan video ... finally

Finally, video of the Brad MacMillan incident has been uncovered. Click here, and thanks to whomever posted this.

What do I think? I think Dave Van Drunen may have known something was coming, but he was in a defenseless position.

I think a heavy suspension was warranted. Twenty two games might have been a little too severe -- this feels more like 16 to me -- but this is such a short clip. We don't know what happened before or after.

So I'm not going to throw the Central Hockey League under the bus, based on this.

Like I wrote yesterday, a player has to have an opportunity to defend himself, and I don't think this fits the criteria.
