Komets beat Arizona for 1st win

The Komets picked up their first win of the season by edging Arizona 2-1 Saturday night at the Tims Toyota Center in Prescott, Ariz., before a crowd of 2,672.

Frankie DeAngelis put the Komets (1-1-1) up 1-0 with a power-play goal at 3:11 in the first period. Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock and P.C. Drouin had assists on the goal.

Derek Petrosso's power-play goal at 11:59 in the second period built the Komets' lead to 2-0. Schrock and Drouin assisted.

Arizona got on the board shortly before the end of the second period when Tyler Butler scored an unassisted power-play goal at 18:57.

Both teams took 31 shots.
