Replogle finalist for award

Linebacker Tyler Replogle has been named a finalist for the sixth annual Awards and Recognition Association sportsmanship award.

He is one of 10 finalists.

Last week, teammate Ben Chappell was named one of 16 recipients of the 2010 National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Award. As a recipient, Chappell will receive an $18,000 postgraduate scholarship and will be eligible for the 21st William V. Campbell Trophy, recognizing the best scholar-athlete in the nation.

"When you spend as much time with those kind of guys as we get to as football coaches, they are special people, and not only are they outstanding football players and students but they are going to be very successful when they leave here wherever their careers take them," IU coach Bill Lynch said.
