No free lunch for you

So at last we get to the bottom of why the Vikings waived Randy Moss: Table manners.

Or rather, lack of same.

According to this, Moss loudly complained about a free spread put out by a local Minneapolis restaurant for the Vikings, saying he "wouldn't feed it to my dog."

As anyone with even an inkling of common decency knows (and from about, the time they're 5 years old), you never complain about free food. First of all, it's free. Second of all, someone went to the trouble of preparing it for you. Third of all, it's free.

Only a complete jackass would violate this basic rule of etiquette, whether it's at a restaurant catering to a professional team or, say, a college or high school press box. But then, that's Randy.

Million-dollar talent. Ten-cent head.
