Homestead standout senior swimmer Tori Bagan's busy schedule will cause her to miss three days of school and even the first opportunity to sign her college scholarship.
Bagan, the 2009 state champion in the 100-yard breatstroke, is traveling to the University of Minnesota this week for the USA Swimming National Grand Prix meet.
"She is attempting to work hard in her school classes to get ahead and maintain her 'A' work," Homestead coach Chad Englehart said. "With this in mind, she is asking to wait until next Tuesday to do all of her college signing activities."
The plan is for Bagan to sign her letter of intent to Ohio University on Nov. 16.
