Ryan Kerrigan probably needed no introduction.

Colts president Bill Polian has been to at least one Purdue game this season to watch the Boilermakers' dominant defensive end.

But Kerrigan took a moment to introduce himself to Polian anyway after Polian spoke to all of Purdue's athletes at a function Monday.

"I'm a Colts fan, so to hear the president of the Colts speak was pretty cool," Kerrigan said.

Kerrigan said Polian talked about John Wooden's building blocks to success and different elements it takes to be successful.
