Not yet on Musselwhite

While defenseman Steven Delisle will make his debut for the Komets on Friday against the Arizona Sundogs, it doesn't sound as if forward Neil Musselwhite will do the same.

The Komets are still awaiting his immigration work papers to come through, general manager David Franke said, and while that could happen early Friday, they're not planning on it.

As it stands now, the Komets won't have to release anyone to make room on their roster.

  • The Komets are asking fans to bring gently used or new kids' coats to the games Friday and Saturday, and they will be distributed to children in need. They need sizes 6 through 14, and they also need new mittens hats and scarves. If you make a donation, you get 10 free chuck-a-pucks, compliments of Scott's and Kroger.
