Purdue may finally get a test -- from at least one player

Oakland's Keith Benson is a 6-foot-11, 235-pound center that is projected as an NBA draft pick.

Purdue's JaJuan Johnson and his post teammates will have the task of guarding Benson and keeping him off the boards.

Benson averages 16 points and 10.5 rebounds and is on the Naismith Trophy watch list.

"Anytime you get an opportunity to play someone that's high caliber, you're definitely going to bring your A-game," Johnson said. "I'm definitely excited just to have the opportunity to matchup against someone like that."

Coach Matt Painter said he would use several players to defend Benson.

Johnson, a preseason All-American, likely will be one of them. That should be an intriguing matchup.
