The strong early showing by the IPFW women's basketball team hasn't come unexpectedly, mostly because of its 6-foot-2 center Stephanie Rosado.

For the second time this season, the junior was named Summit League Player of the Week. This time it was for her 22-point, 12-rebound effort in the Mastodons' 73-61 victory over Youngstown State.

IPFW is off to a 3-1 start, with its only loss coming to then-25th-ranked Michigan State.

IPFW will play Indiana Tech tonight before a showdown with Louisville on Monday at the Gates Center.
