Embassy Theatre, 125 W. Jefferson, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Stay a little longer at the Embassy and enjoy the lighting of the trees and marvel at this favorite family tradition.

Festival of Trees open Nov. 24-30.

Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun, 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Enjoy hot chocolate and a cookie, meet Mrs. Claus and take home a free photo with Santa. You can also meet Becka and Teeka, two live reindeer that know all about the North Pole. The Candy Land display garden is complete with a life-sized gingerbread house, peppermint forest, and the popular 12-foot-tall poinsettia tree. Don't forget to stop by the terrace for the musical light show! Regular Conservatory admission fees apply. No reservations required.

History Center, 302 E. Berry, 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Museum tours of the gingerbread creations. Raises money for support of the History Center and its programs.

$2 per person with tickets available at the door.

Grand Wayne Convention Center, 120 W. Jefferson, 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Bring your family and friends to Holiday Houses for Habitat, Indiana's largest snow village display. Join us to kick-off this magical spectacle and heart-warming holiday tradition which benefits Habitat for Humanity.

Parkview Field, 7:45 p.m.

A Holiday Fireworks Display will light up the sky at Parkview Field. Each and every Saturday evening between Thanksgiving and Christmas the ballpark will continue the seasonal fun! Parkview Field will play host to numerous performance groups on the centerfield amphitheater, have hot beverages and snacks available for purchase, and continue to display the Memory Stars project along the Parkview Field concourse.

Admission is free. Parkview Field will be open from 5:00-7:00 p.m. each Saturday from Thanksgiving to Christmas (November 27, December 4, December 11, and December 18). Come and listen to live performances and experience the downtown holiday season at Parkview Field's "Home for the Holidays" celebration.

Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department Community Center,

233 W. Main, 4:00-7:30 p.m.

Stop by to see the lighting of Santa's Workshop on the roof at 5:00 p.m., watch the movie Elf, take a photo with "Buddy" the elf, children's' crafts, refreshments, donate new or gently used bears for the needy, or shop for a few holiday gifts.

Allen County Courthouse, 715 S. Calhoun, 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Enjoy holiday carols provided by the Holy Cross Lutheran Children's Choir

from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Hot Chocolate and cookies provided by the Allen County Courthouse Preservation Trust.

Aunt Millie's, 350 Pearl Street, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

On your way to the Santa lighting on Thanksgiving Eve, stop by Aunt Millie's parking lot for free hot cider and Aunt Millie's Muffins. Check out the "Aunt Millie's Northern Lights" amazing holiday light display.

End your night of holiday kick-off fun by skating at the Headwaters Park Ice Rink! The rink will be open on Wednesday, November 24 from 1:00-8:00 p.m.

Admission is $5 (ages 14 and over) $3 (ages 13 and under) skate rental is $2.
