    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

IPFW opens home schedule with big win

IPFW opened its home schedule in style with a 105-65 victory over Judson of the NAIA.

The Mastodons (3-2) were led by Jeremy Mixon's 21 points and Ben Botts and Frank Gaines with 18 points each.

IPFW will play its next four games at home after starting the season with four straight road games.

The Mastodons return to Memorial Coliseum at 7 p.m. Thursday against UMKC. The game is the Summit League opener for IPFW.
