Fort Wayne has another basketball commitment who will be headed to play at Purdue.
Northrop sophomore Bryson Scott joins South Side junior Rapheal Davis in making a pledge to Matt Painter and the Boilermakers.
Scott committed to Purdue on Sunday.
"Great coaching staff, and I love the way they play," Scott said of his reasons. "And I wanted to stay close."
Davis made his commitment after his freshman season, essentially what Scott did.
"Amazing pickup for Purdue," Davis said Sunday. "I'm glad it happened. We have big goals."
The Big Ten will definitely have a Fort Wayne flavor for some time to come with Bishop Luers' Deshaun Thomas (Ohio State) and Blackhawk Christian's Russell Byrd (Michigan State) already on Big Ten rosters, and Bishop Luers freshman James Blackmon Jr. having made a commitment to Indiana.
And Harding sophomore V.J. Beachem has an offer from Purdue, and Indiana has shown interest in Canterbury sophomore Austin Hatch.
