Kenny Mullen's past is complete with two straight Class 2A state football championships.
His future, though, could be a different story.
For now the Bishop Luers senior running back/defensive back/kick returner is firm with his decision to play college football at Indiana University, even in the wake of head coach Bill Lynch's firing Sunday.
But Mullen left the door open (just a crack) for other possible suitors.
"As of now I'm still committed and I don't know if that'll change," Mullen said Sunday. "I'll look into other places just in case, but I'm still a proud Hoosier."
Mullen is just two days removed from helping the Knights to a 26-14 win over North Putnam in the 2A title game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Luers beat Monrovia 24-17 in the 2009 2A state championship.
