Irish pick up running back commitment

Notre Dame has found a new running back for the Class of 2011.

Cam McDaniel of Coppell (Texas) High school orally committed to the Irish, according to IrishIllustrated.com and Irish Sports Daily.

McDaniel is a 5-foot-11, 192-pound three-star recruit, according to Rivals.com.

He helps fill the void of Justice Hayes decommitting and choosing Michigan.
