Zahn waived, Hunter returns

The Mad Ants waived Adam Zahn to make room for the reacquisition of Chris Hunter, who was waived in November because of a knee injury.

Zahn, a 6-9 forward, averaged 5.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in the Mad Ants' first four games.

Hunter, who averaged 4.5 points per game in 60 games for the Golden State Warriors last season and 19.3 points per game for the Ants in 2008-09, is expected to play with the team on the road as they take on the Maine Red Claws and the Springfield Armor this weekend.
