Notre Dame and Purdue are both trying to rebound from loses to Top 25 teams in a little less than a half hour.
The Irish fell 76-65 to No. 2 Baylor on Wednesday, and the Boilermakers lost to No. 22 Maryland 56-55 Thursday.
And along with in-state bragging rights, Notre Dame guard Natalie Novosel said the Irish are looking to put together a complete team effort today in Purcell Pavilion.
“Purdue has always been a big-time rival for us,” Novosel said. “It is just always a great game against Purdue. We just want to come out and have some fun playing, just play our game and I want all of us to come out and play together. These past couple of games, some people show up, some people don’t. That’s what has been hurting us. We have played a whole 40 minutes as a team.”
