And Another Thing

And in another shocking development, Haynesworth suspended

So after a season in which he a) skipped offseason workouts, b) boycotted a mandatory minicamp, c) had a war of wills with head coach Mike Shanahan over a conditioning test, and d) continued Monday to complain about having to play nose tackle in a 3-4 defense, something he’s actively rebelled against all season, Albert “There Ain’t No ‘We’ In Team, Either” Haynesworth has been suspended for the last four games of the regular season.

This after his teammates (notably Phillip Daniels) called him out, and after saying he wouldn’t meet with Shanahan on Tuesday, but would wait until Wednesday, presumably for his own convenience.

Speaking for all of us here in the Blobosphere, I’m stunned. Or not.
