E'Twaun Moore scored nine points in 13 minutes as Purdue leads 30-28 over Valpo at halftime.

Moore picked up two first-half fouls, as well as teammates Kelsey Barlow and Terone Johnson. JaJuan Johnson played 18 minutes and didn't have a foul. He had five points, four rebounds but four turnovers against Valpo's double teams.

Valparaiso's Brandon Wood made seven of eight shots for 18 points.
